  • In application of governmental instructions, the presentation of a health pass or a negative PCR or antigenic test or self-test carried out under the supervision of a health professional from less than 72 hours is compulsory to access the palace and museums of the National Estate of Versailles for all persons aged 18 and over. Please take note of all the measures put in place. For Friends of Versailles, priority access is maintained at entrance A, without hourly reservation. However, we recommend that you take an hourly reservation, by “buying” a free ticket (2 for a Duo card if you come with a guest) on the château's website

WHICH ACCESS ARE OPEN CURRENTLY ?

HOW DOES A MEMBER BENEFIT FROM PRIORITY ACCESS ?
For priority access, you may advance to the beginning of the line with the security guards next to the sign “Entrée A” in the courtyard of the château. There is no priority access to get an audio guide or for the two Trianon palaces.
Attention : With the heightened anti-terrorism precautions at Versailles, all visitors must wait in the security line at the entrance to the palace courtyard. Please account for this extra time, only after which will the membership card grant you priority access.

If you come with additional non-members, it is possible to purchase them tickets on the château’s website http://billetterie.chateauversailles.fr or, at the last minute, in locations close to the château, including the Office of Tourism of Versailles and the Brasserie du Musée (for practical information and prices, see our FAQ at www.amisdeversailles.com).

Please note that two visitors accompanying the card holder can also benefit from priority access.

Chateau access is free for children but access to the musical fountain shows is paying for children above 6 years old.  * RER C, from the center of Paris, towards Versailles Rive-Gauche Station (5mn walk to the château). 
 * Other trains 
From Paris Montparnasse, towards Versailles Chantiers Station (15mn walk to the château). 
From Paris Saint Lazare, towards Versailles Rive-Droite Station (15mn walk to the Château). 
 * Car Parks : Many are available close to the château

HOW TO BOOK A SPECIAL TOUR IN THE CHATEAU:
(please note that all visitors are entitled to a free audio guide or can download a guide on their tablet or smart phone: http://en.chateauversailles.fr/accueil-multimedia-en)

  • Guided group visit (1 hour 30 minutes) : Visits vary according to the offerings of the chateau. A 10€ additional ticket. a reduced price of 7€ applys to a member of the Société des Amis de Versailles, as well as his guest (for DUO CARDS)

  • Personalized “prestige” visit: A private visit guided by a specialist through areas not accessible by public visit. During hours when the chateau is open to the public. 1000€ for a 1 hour 30 minutes visit for a group of up to 20 people. If all group members are members of the Société des Amis de Versailles, the visit price is reduced to 250€
